LAKE MIAMI

A 135 acre lake located within Miami Wildlife Area. The lake is served by two boat ramps. The lake's spillway is designed to facilitate periodic drawdowns so that the management biologist may concentrate predators and prey to better control fish populations. The lake was drawn down six feet in 1997. Large red-ear sunfish greater than eight inches are present in the lake. Year in and year out Lake Miami produces good largemouth bass fishing.
